Leveling

During the manufacture and processing of metals, the external shape can change unintentionally. Sheet metal is at risk of losing its flatness. We eliminate this deviation in shape by leveling the semi-finished products or stainless steel blanks. To do this, we use our precision leveling machine. It enables us to finely level stainless steel sheets up to 30 mm thick with maximum dimensions of 6,000 mm x 2,000 mm. The work is carried out by 13 hydraulic rollers, which shape the sheets with a pressure of 180 tonnes. The computer-controlled machine works with variable pressure, which continuously adapts to the respective conditions while the sheets are straightened in a continuous process. The original dimensions of the sheets and blanks are retained during straightening.
