Precision Grinding

Precision grinding is a metalworking process that achieves a high surface quality. The roughness achieves an arithmetic mean value of Ra = 1 µm. Precision grinding is advantageous when there are special requirements for dimensional accuracy and shape tolerances. Flatness, deviations from sheet thickness and the parallelism of opposing surfaces are within extremely narrow tolerance ranges. We achieve high levels of accuracy by using CNC-controlled wet grinding machines. These enable us to process stainless steel sheets and blanks measuring up to 2,000 mm x 1,000 mm x 150 mm. Our technology also allows us to perform precise circumferential grinding on the blanks manufactured for you.
