Sawing

The most effective and cost-efficient method of cutting material into smaller pieces is sawing. Another advantage of this process is that the material is not exposed to thermal stress. We use our powerful block band saw for sawing work. It can handle stainless steel sheets with maximum dimensions of 6,300 mm x 3,000 mm x 150 mm. It leaves behind perfectly straight cut edges. Thanks to the precise cutting results, reworking is often unnecessary. Sawing stainless steel places special demands on the material of the saw blades, the tooth shape and tooth pitch, as well as the cutting and feed speeds. Thanks to the careful selection of the optimum saw blade, the process parameters adapted to the material and our many years of experience, we have mastered this technology to perfection.
