Field of application

Construction industry, chemical industry, shipbuilding, fertiliser production, use in seawater, medical and pharmaceutical industry, pulp industry, flue gas desulphurisation plants. Particularly resistant to highly corrosive media (e.g. phosphoric, sulphuric or hydrochloric acid). As delivered, the steel is resistant to intergranular corrosion (e.g. ASTM A262 Pr. E / EN 3651-2); in the welded condition, resistance is also guaranteed due to the low C content.
